ABOUT
Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is a highly contagious viral disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals, including cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats, and is transmitted through direct contact with infected animals, their saliva, or their bodily fluids, contaminated feed, water, or bedding. This RDT detects antibodies in whole blood or serum, and is a valuable tool to help identify infected animals and control the spread of FMD.
